WELCOME TO TRAINING FOR TELEHANDLER OPERATORS
Telescopic handler operation requires an UDT licence to operate all forklifts.
We expect trainees to:
- age of majority,
- minimum basic education,
- a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to performing the work of a telehandler operator.
Examples of health contraindications include: diabetes, epilepsy, visual impairment, disability, mental health conditions.
Students receive a package of study materials upon enrolment. This includes theoretical knowledge, instructional videos and mock tests. The materials are available in an online format, which will allow them to be accessed anywhere on a mobile device.
Telescopic handlers are equipment used in construction and industrial work and have also found their way into agriculture and horticulture. It is used for assembling work equipment, unloading with forks, transporting materials with shovels and boom with working platform.
It is most often used for transporting earth, concrete, sand and other bulk materials, hay bales, metal structures, but also for unloading and loading pallets.
We distinguish:
- Telescopic handlers - have a high lifting capacity, fixed cab for the operator, boom on the right-hand side,
- Rotary telehandlers - have a rotating head (360 degrees) and a high upward reach.
TRAINING PROGRAMME
Our task is to impart expert knowledge to future employees in the operation and use of telescopic handlers. We teach in accordance with the requirements of the Office of Technical Inspection.
We prepare for the UDT exam and for work on telescopic handlers from the most popular manufacturers:
New Holland, Case, Manitou, JCB, Massey Ferguson, Merlo, Dieci, Caterpillar, JLG, Ausa, Bobcat, Deutz-Fahr, Faresin, Gehl, Genie, Kramer, Lull, Haulotte, JMG, Schäffer, Skyjack, Skytrack, Wacker Neuson, XTrem Manufacturing.
The training includes theoretical preparation during lectures and practical preparation during tasks on the manoeuvring area.
The training programme includes:
- HEALTH AND SAFETY,
- technical supervision,
- construction and types of equipment,
- mechanisms and electronics for telehandlers,
- the tasks of a telehandler operator,
- principles of cargo transport,
- loader accessories,
- operation of gas cylinders,
- parts replacement.
UDT ENTITLEMENTS
The training course concludes with an UDT examination in the form of a test of theoretical knowledge and a practical part. This takes place under the supervision of an UDT examination board. The trainee performs tasks such as operating a telehandler, loading and unloading, driving, using attachments or changing the LPG cylinder.
After passing the UDT exam, the trainee receives a qualification certificate for specialised forklift trucks, including telescopic handlers, i.e. with an exchangeable boom.
THE ENTITLEMENT IS VALID FOR A PERIOD OF 5 YEARS
