These classes are designed for people who are already working in the profession of operator or are just planning to do so. Regardless of the Polish UDT qualifications, it may be necessary to obtain an additional certificate to work abroad. Such qualifications are required, among others, in Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Estonia, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Sweden. We recommend the training to people who choose to work in these countries.

The curriculum complies with the guidelines of the OMHEC group, which cares about the safety and standards of work at height at sea, as well as with the ISO MEWP 18878: 2013, ISO 5053 and ISO 15513: 2000 standards.

You can take part in the classes in two ways: stationary in Warsaw or online - only theoretical part. People participating in the classes in the form of e-learning must then take part in the practical part in Warsaw.

Employment opportunities with qualifications following the course

Obtaining a certificate valid for 5 years opens the way to work on land and at sea. Qualifications are also important when performing duties at height on oil rigs. Service specialists aerial work platforms and scissor lifts (boom lifts, scissor lifts) are also in demand in other industries: construction, renovation, energy, installation. The scope of services provided with the use of increases in European countries is similar to that in Poland.

The certificate is required in the countries associated with the OMHEC group, i.e. in Great Britain, Norway, Denmark and Sweden. In these countries, UDT licenses for exploitation in force in Poland are not recognized movable platforms.

Information about the course

Offshore / onshore training courses are intended for people already working as an operator or beginners. It depends on the level of experience and knowledge of the client to which group he will be admitted and how long he will need to complete the course.

During the classes, our instructors cover such issues as:

  • Construction of the work platform, boom and other elements
  • Types and kinds of lifts
  • Safety regulations and rules in force during operation
  • Inspection of movable platforms
  • Stabilization when operating lifts
  • Rules of conduct in the event of an accident or breakdown

Theoretical classes are supplemented with a practical part, and at the end of the class there is an exam conducted by accredited instructors.

Other details:

  • Cost of attending the course: the exact price depends on several different factors, therefore the cost is given to the participant at the registration stage. The price includes the appropriate number of hours of theoretical (lecture or e-learning) and practical classes, access to health and safety devices and equipment, certificate of completion of the course, taking the exam, refreshments during coffee breaks
  • Dates: current dates can be found by contacting us directly by e-mail or telephone
  • Duration: the theoretical part lasts about 8 hours, the duration of the practical part depends on whether the participant already has experience in using this type of lifts. If he has already served them and can provide us with the appropriate certificate, the practical part may be shortened.
